The average age at death now for Canadians is 80.7 years old, according to Stats Can. This is up from 1999. We're living longer, albeit not necessarily better.

Averages of course, are figures that have been played with. It is after all, just an average. In any given year, there might not be one person who died at the age of 80.7. There will be many who died younger, and some who died older.
They says baby boomers are supposed to peak in the death rate, in the year 2025. That's 14 years away, and that's us kids.
