Covidian Times
Hello there Sandra…where have you been? Right here, just like the rest of us, during these Covidian Times. Who would have thought things would ever be like this? In Canada, barricades and attempts to stop trains by Native groups, based on stated “solidarity” with some FN from British Columbia. The Wetsuwetan territories…basically a fight between Hereditary Chiefs and Elected Chiefs. I was alarmed by 2 things…First of all the government did nothing. Absolutely nothing, for basically the whole month. Secondly I felt abashed by comments such as “Bring Down Canada,” from people I thought I knew. Well, that issue got settled for the time being, and along came March. For me, March brought a new understanding of COVID19. Even before things began to shut down, I began to feel it’s seriousness.
